Nature: Pre-Arranged Standby Assignment – Automatic Fire Alarm Incident

Address: Wilmington Manor – New Castle

On Saturday, December 14th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company provided a pre-arranged stand-by crew for Wilmington Manor in New Castle Delaware to attend their annual fire company banquet.

The Wilmington Manor Fire Company was dispatched to assist Goodwill Fire Company with a box alarm alert at 50 Market Street and Harmony Road in the vicinity of the Immanuel Episcopal Church Building.

Emergency response units from Wilmington Manor included: Rescue 28; and Ladder 28.

It appears that a faulty attic heat detector (Zone 5) may have been identified as result of the incident.
