Nature: Holly Lake Standby – Holiday Bonfire Event

On Friday, December 13th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company provided a safety assignment at the Holly Lake Campsite during their annual holiday celebration bonfire. This event traditionally has been hosted to allow residents of the Holly Lake community to celebrate the upcoming holiday season with laughter, cheer, fellowship and camaraderie while enjoying holiday caroling around the bonfire.

Indian River traditionally has been invited to provide a crew to monitor the bonfire and prohibit its promulgation into other areas.

The event has hosted a decorated cabin with Santa Claus to accept Christmas wishes as well as offering warm beverages by Backyard Bouys.
