Nature: Standby Cover up Assignment – Aston-Beechwood Fire Company

Address: Aston, Pennsylvania

On Saturday, November 2nd, the Indian River (80) Volunteer Fire Company provided a pre-arranged stand-by cover up assignment for the Ashton-Beechwood (72) fire company in Aston, Pennsylvania.

The stand-by was requested to allow Aston-Beechwood VFC to host a professional development training seminar for their members at the fire house. The standby assignment commenced at 8 a.m.

The professional development training was:

These assignments allow Indian River members to identify firsthand the different types of emergency response incidents that could be encountered in a suburban setting. Illustrated herewith are some photographs of the activities.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company would like to acknowledge Aston-Beechwood for their hospitality.

The incident response included one automatic fire alarm incident. Additional information may be obtained by viewing Aston-Beechwood's web page:
