Nature: Structural Firefighter Training Evolutions

Address: Delaware State Fire School – Georgetown Campus

On Wednesday evening, October 30th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hosted a Structural Firefighting Training Evolution Class at the Delaware State Fire School – Georgetown Campus training facility.

These training objectives included: multiple fire attack (suppression) evolutions focusing on aggressively moving in with the initial attack line; search and rescue evolutions and techniques; ground ladder evolutions; hose handling techniques; and self-contained breathing apparatus deployments.

Approximately 25 persons participated with these assignments.
