Indian River’s Adopt-a-Highway Clean-up Day

Oak Orchard Road

On Sunday, September 29th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company coordinated its Adopt-a-Highway Clean-up program and cleaned up the entire section of Oak Orchard Road. The fifteen (15) volunteers arrived at the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company in Oak Orchard and commenced with the clean-up activities picking up the roadside debris which accumulated approximately ten bags of trash.

Additional efforts were made to remove the shoes from overhead utility lines as well. Illustrated herewith is additional information regarding the Indian River’s Adopt-A-Highway efforts over the periods:
