Nature: Vehicle Accident

Address: John J. Williams Highway & Hollymount Road, Millsboro, DE 19966

On Saturday, June 8th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident at the intersection of Hollymount Road and John J. Williams Highway. It was reported to be a two vehicle collision.

Emergency responded units included Engine #805 from a predetermined event and Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, traffic control patterns, and debris and fluid recovery where needed. It appears that white Toyota minivan and a maroon Nissan sedan collided at or near the intersection.

The Delaware State Fire Police were utilized for traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
