Nature: Washdown (Fuel Spill)

On Tuesday evening, June 26^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a fuel spill and wash down assignment.

Emergency incident response included:  Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Incident Command from the Riverdale area.

The incident involved a black Volkswagen sedan that was leaking fluids on the roadway surface and needed to be mitigated.  The crews were assigned to evaluate the overall situation and apply various absorbent materials to address the fluid spillage.
