Wednesday, June 6, 2012 Nature: United States Coast Guard Certificate of Appreciation United States Coast Guard – Certificate of Appreciation On Wednesday evening, June 6th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was afforded the opportunity to witness a Certificate of Appreciation Presentation to Jason M. Faulkner, Sr. This Certificate of Appreciation via the United States Coast Guard was submitted to acknowledge the contributions to enhance and ameliorate the communication capabilities made to the Coast Guard Station Indian River Inlet. These enhanced communication capabilities will positively impact the State Emergency Operations Board as well as emergency air assets and other rescue resources. Similar presentations were available for Chief Steven C. Deery, Jr., and William Outten, a Sussex County Emergency Communications employee. The presentation was coordinated by Stephen H. Smyk on behalf of USCG Office in Charge – Michael J, Kristiansen. |
