Nature: Annual Firefighter & EMS Appreciation Dinner

On Sunday evening, June 3rd, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Oak Orchard - Riverdale American Legion Post #28 hosted its Annual Firefighter and EMS Appreciation Event to recognize the local volunteer firemen and emergency medical response personnel as well as the Sussex County Paramedics that serve the fire district of Indian River.

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Oak Orchard - Riverdale American Legion Post #28 provided a welcome and appreciation speech as well as presenting each entity with a monetary appreciation contribution.

On behalf of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, President Patrick Miller accepted the contribution.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company would like to acknowledge the wonderful collaboration that Immediate Past Post Commander James Gallagher has inspired as well as recognizing the efforts of the Ladies Auxiliary of Post #28 for the graciousness.

The evening was appreciated and enjoyed by all who attended.
