Nature: CPR & AED Training Certification & Recertification

Location: Station #2

Address: Banks Rd., Millsboro, DE 19966

On Monday evening, March 26th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hosted another professional development training session in order for members, volunteers, family and friends to fulfill CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and AED (automated external defibrillator) training requirements.

CPR recertification is an established and trusted way for first responders to keep up to date with the latest CPR developments, procedures and techniques for administering CPR. It also provides an opportunity for qualified CPR persons to refresh their knowledge on a regular basis.

These training sessions are intended to meet the needs of first responders, healthcare professionals as well as the general public.

These exercised were coordinated and conducted by the personnel from the Delaware State Fire School (DSFS).
