Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. 2011 Annual Incident Statistics The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company responded to 386 emergency incidents during Calendar Year 2011 while serving the communities of Oak Orchard, Riverdale, Long Neck and surrounding vicinities. It is estimated that these volunteers of your community friends, contributed labor and manpower resources of 6,895 hours and 29 minutes during this same time period for emergency response incidents alone. These firefighters and emergency response personnel play a significant role throughout the community and for this we are thankful. The estimated personnel costs (estimated at Delaware Minimum Wage Rate plus social security costs) for these incidents would be $53,816.67 Total Estimated Labor Costs @ Delaware Minimum Wage - $49,992.25 The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company is very appreciative and thankful for the community support that it receives.
