Friday, December, 30 2011 Nature: Utility Truck Conversion Completed On Friday, December 30th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company received delivery of the modified utility truck conversion for Utility #80-8 which is 2011 Ford F-350 Utility Truck that will function as a Marine Response Unit and a Wildland Fire Response Unit for our Polaris All-Terrain Vehicle. The Utility Apparatus Committee accepted delivery from TRG “The Reading Group” in Bowmansville, Pennsylvania. The utility body includes multiple closets and storage compartments as well as a transverse compartment accessible from both sides of the utility body, remote control and manual locking devices, interior compartment lighting, exterior vehicle ground lighting, Whelen emergency lighting packages, and Motorola radio communication devices.
