Nature: Delaware Volunteer Firefighters’ Association – Annual Conference Recognition 50 Years of Service

On Thursday, September 12th, many volunteers of the Delaware Fire Service attended the 25th Annual Delaware Volunteer Firefighters Association’s Annual Conference and during the opening ceremonies there were many recognitions.

Indian River is pleased to identify that is own – Hayden F. Klingler was recognized for having 50 years of service in Delaware’s fire service.

Hayden has served in many positions during this tenure and most recently is :

  • Chief – Indian River Volunteer Fire Company.

Hayden has been affiliated with the following fire companies in Delaware:

Hayden has also served as President of the Sussex County Firefighters Association.

Indian River acknowledges Chief Klingler’s dedication and years of services assisting those in need while residing or traversing through the State of Delaware.
