Monday November, 21 2011 @ 11:33:49 Nature: Trash Fire Address: 24892 John J Williams Hwy Millsboro, DE 19966 On Monday morning, November 21st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a trash fire on John J. Williams Highway near Long Neck Road. It appears that the property owner torn down a garage type structure and set the debris on fire to dispose off. This practice is unlawful in accordance to the Burning Regulations of the State of Delaware. Engine #80-2 and Tanker 80 responded from the Oak Orchard facility while Engines #80-3 and #80-5 responded from the Long Neck facility. The Delaware Department of Natural Resources & Environmental Control is investigating the incident.
