Saturday September, 17 2011 Nature: Stand-by Coverage Address: Indian River’s Fire District On Saturday, September 17th, the Sharptown Fire Department of Sharptown, Maryland provided a six (6) man Engine Crew to offer fire district stand-by coverage in order for the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company to attend and participate in the 87th Annual Delaware Volunteer Firefighers' Association Parade in Dover, Delaware. The stand-by crew from Sharptown Fire Company arrived early in the morning of September 17th and stayed until approximately 4:45 p.m. The Board of Directors, Officers and Members of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hereby thank and acknowledge the assistance and cooperation of the Sharptown Fire Department.
