The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company Fire Prevention Committee was invited to attend the Holly Lake Campground to offer a fire prevention program which included increasing community awareness and community support with various fire prevention initiatives such as:  preventing home fires; promoting fire safety; firefighter awareness, and conducting various outreach initiatives via educational, and the importance of working smoke detectors.  Also, available for presentation and demonstration was Deputy State Fire Marshall John Galaska and Tanya, his K-9 partner.
