Nature: Washdown (Fuel Spill)

Location: Long Neck Rd and Shoppes at Long Neck, Millsboro, DE 19966

On Monday, December 24^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a wash down resulting from a property damage vehicle accident on Long Neck near the Shoppes of Long Neck on Long Neck Road. 

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-1, 80 Command, the Delaware State Fire Police as well as the local emergency medical service provider. 

Emergency response crew assignments included traffic control, scene mitigation, fluid and debris recovery as well as assist with patient care if needed.

It appears that two vehicles collided at or near the intersection with the Shoppes of Long Neck and Long Neck Road.  Both vehicles sustained significant damage.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.

All occupants refused additional medical attention.
