Nature: Structure Fire

Location: 28330 Wynikako Ave, Millsboro, DE 19966

On Thursday evening, Thanksgiving Day, November 22^nd, the Indian River (80), Millsboro (83), and Lewes (82) fire companies were alerted for a reported residential structure fire on Wynikako Avenue in Riverdale.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police, the Sussex County Paramedics, and the local emergency services provider.

Emergency response crew assignments included incident mitigation in order to determine nature and origin.  Units from an electrical fire in the kitchen, on the back of an appliance. The emergency apparatus response was reduced to Indian River apparatus, ems, and one engine from Lewes.

The Delaware State Fire Police provided traffic control for the duration of the incident.

There were no reported injuries.
