Sunday January, 9 2011 @ 22:46:15 Nature: Traffic/TransportationAcdntBLS Address: John J Williams Hwy & Layton D Millsboro, DE 19966 On Sunday evening, January 9th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a personal injury vehicle collision on John J. Williams Highway in the vicinity of Layton Davis Road. It appears that a gray Audi 4-door sedan and a Dodge Caravan collided near the intersection of John J. Williams Highway and Layton Davis Road. The roadway conditions were snow and ice covered due to wind and minor drifting conditions in this area. The emergency response crew from Engine #80-5 was assigned to assist with vehicle stabilization as well as patient stabilization. The local emergency services provider transported one person to nearby medical facilities for additional observations. The Delaware State Fire Police were requested to coordinate traffic restrictions to one lane for the duration of the incident. The Delaware State Police are investigation.
