Nature: Electrical Fire

Location: 35389 Lagoon Lane Millsboro, DE 19966

On Sunday afternoon, August 5^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an electrical fire incident on Lagoon Lane in Mariner’s Cove off of Long Neck Road.  It was reported to an electrical fire at the meter pan for a manufactured home site.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Brush #80-0 from the Long Neck area and Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard area as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignment was an evaluation and isolation of the concern, notify the Emergency Operations Center of the utility company and numerical information, assist the residents with informational dialogue, and await arrival of the utility service provider.

The utility service provider was Delaware Electric Cooperative.
