Monday September, 20 2010 @ 14:18:21 Nature: Traffic/TransportationAcdntBLS Address: 25609 - 26047 John J Williams Millsboro, DE 19966 On Monday afternoon of September 20th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a personal injury vehicle collision on John J. Williams Highway at the entrance to Sherwood Forest development. It appears that a white GMC Yukon Denali was traveling eastbound on John J Williams Highway when the white Chrysler Stratus entering the roadway causing the vehicles to collide. Both vehicles sustained front end damage. Rescue 80 and Engine #80-3 were assigned to coordinate vehicle stabilization and assist with patient care as well as having the Delaware State Fire Police to coordinate traffic control activities. Traffic along John J. Williams Hwy. was restricted to one lane for the duration of the emergency incident. The Delaware State Police are investigating the incident.
