Wednesday August, 25 2010 @ 19:29:52 Nature: Traffic/TransportationAcdntALS Address: Banks Rd & Green Rd Millsboro, DE 19966 On Wednesday evening, August 25th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motorcycle incident Banks Road near the intersection of Green Road. It was reported to have a one motorcycle off the roadway with the occupant being ejected. The motorcyle appears to have been traveling east on Banks Road and left the roadway for an unknown reason. The Delaware State Police Aviation Unit was requested as well. It appears that the motorcycle was traveling on Banks Road and lost control for an unknown reason. The rider of the motorcycle was transferred to nearby medical facilities for additional observations. The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident. The Delaware State Police are investigating.
