Williams Hwy., Millsboro, DE 19966 On Wednesday afternoon, August 25th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle collision on John J. Williams near the entrance to the Renaissance Nursing facility. It was reported to have a two vehicle collision. One of the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s was within the immediate area and responded to the incident as well. It appears that a maroon Hyundai and a blue Ford were traveling east on John J. Williams Highway and collided for some unknown reason. The Hyundai was struck on the right rear fenders as well as the rear of the vehicle. The Ford sustained damage to the front and left front fender. One of the vehicle occupants were transferred to nearby medical facilities for additional observations. The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident. The Delaware State Police are investigating.
