Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: 33558 Windswept Dr Millsboro, DE 19966

On Monday afternoon, July 16^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm sounding at 33558 Windswept Drive in the Peninsula off of Bay Farm Road. 

Emergency response unit from Indian River included Ladder 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Rescue 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignment included but not limited to the identification and location of the cause.  It was determined that the fire alarm system was not functioning properly and that maintenance and service personnel would be needed.

All units were returned to their respective stations.
