Nature: Structure Fire

Location: Giant

Address:  19312 Lighthouse Plaza Blvd Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971

On Monday evening, July 9^th, the Indian River (80) and Lewes (82) fire companies were alerted to assist Rehoboth Beach (86) fire company with a commercial structure fire at Giant in the Lighthouse Plaza off of Coastal Highway (Route #1).

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included apparatus staging directions, development of manpower resources, and assisting where needed.

It appears that this incident was the result of a faulting electrical lighting devices.
