Monday May, 3 2010 @ 17:19:21 Nature: Vehicle Fire Address: 20546-20639 Beaver Dam Rd Harbeson, DE 19951 On Monday afternoon, May 3rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle fire at the intersection of Beaver Dam and Hollymount Roads. It was reported by Millsboro Ambulance crew returning from a nearby medical facility that a Dodge Pick up Truck was engulfed in flames at the intersection and all occupants were out of the vehicle. The Millsboro Ambulance crew provided an Indian River firefighter with a fire extinguisher to suppress the fire pending arrival of emergency response crews. Engine #80-3 arrived and utilized a 1¾” trash line to fully suppress the incident. The Delaware State Police are investigating the incident. Traffic along this corridor was temporarily disrupted.
