Friday April, 30 2010 @ 08:27:33 Nature: Traffic/Transportation Acdnt BLS Location: Wilmington Trust (80) Address: 31860 Long Neck Rd Millsboro, DE 19966 On Friday, April 30th at approximately 8:27 a.m., the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a personal injury vehicle collision at John J. Williams Highway and the entrance to Wilmington Trust. It was reported to have three (3) vehicles involved in the collision. It appears that a brown Chevrolet mini-van was attempting to the turn into the Wilmington Trust from the westbound traffic lanes of John J. Williams Highway and was struck in the right (passenger) rear by a silver Dodge Neon that was traveling in the eastbound lanes of John J. Williams Highway. The Chevrolet mini-van the was struck by a silver Dodge mini-van on the left (driver) side. The emergency responders were required to evaluate the nature of the incident, provide scene security, monitor traffic control measures and mark the wheels for an investigation by the Delaware State Police. It appears that the Dodge Neon required vehicle stabilization measures with fluid recovery measures being implemented. The Delaware State Fire Police provided traffic control for the duration of the incident.
