Friday January, 29 2010 @ 22:38:33 Nature: Smoke Investigation Address: 25488 Crab Aly W Millsboro, DE 19966 On Friday evening, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a residential smoke investigation incident at 25488 Crab Aly West, Pot Nets Creekside, Millsboro, DE . Upon arrival of Duty Officer, Eric Ruckle it was determined to have a clothes dryer loaded with clothes that had caught fire and were smoldering in the dryer. The dryer and the contents were completely removed from inside the residential structure. Engine #80-3 was assigned to investigate and evaluate the residential structure to ascertain any additional information regarding the incident. The residential occupants of the manufactured residence do not claim any acknowledgement regarding the dryer contents. Engine #80-1 was assigned to coordinate ventilation of the residential structure with the positive pressure fan and methodologies. The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the incident.
