Saturday, January, 30 2010 @ 12:00 The Ladies Auxiliary of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company presented the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company with a check for $5,000 towards the construction and renovation costs of the kitchen and food service equipment located in the Main Station facility on Oak Orchard Road. Over the year, the Ladies Auxiliary has hosted various buffet breakfast events, catering activities, Vera Bradley and Longaberger BINGO events, bake sales and other activities to generate funds for the volunteer fire service. Illustrated herewith is Linda Cullen, President of the Ladies Auxiliary presenting the check to Patrick Miller, President of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company. President Miller recognized the efforts of the Ladies Auxiliary and thanked them for such generosity and welcomed everyone to attend an upcoming buffet breakfast event.
