Nature: Vehicle Accident Possibly Serious

Location: Indian Mission Rd and Cannon Road, Millsboro, DE 19966

On Friday evening, May 11, 2018, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle on Indian Mission Road at the Cannon Road intersection.  It was reported to be a three-vehicle collision with possible entrapment and potential six persons desiring evaluation.

Emergency response apparatus from Indian River included Engine 80-1 and Command 80 from the Long Neck facility, Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, the Lewes Fire Department EMS and the Sussex County EMS. 

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, patient stabilization, traffic control, and preparation for a door pop.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control operations for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
