On Saturday evening, June 13th, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hosted a Vera Bradley BINGO Event in order to generate revenue resources for the volunteer fire company organization. The event was held at our Main Station in Oak Orchard and was well attended by residents of our immediate community and surrounding neighborhoods. The BINGO games commenced promptly at 7 p.m. with traditional BINGO games being offered. every fourth BINGO game being played as a special BINGO game. During the intermission, after the tenth (10) game, light finger foods were provided by the Ladies Auxiliary. In all, twenty (20) BINGO games were played and the prizes were Vera Bradley products which included: Vera Bradley Take Note Tote, Small Back Pack, Large Tic Tac Tote, Back Sack, Katie Daisy, Zip Clip ID bag and Eye Glass container, to mention a few products. The evening also hosted a Chinese Auction event with a 50/50 cash drawing, an early bird tiket holder bag drawing and a raffle drawing for a Vera Bradley carry on cargo bag. The event was a success and all who attended had an enjoyable evening.
