Indian River Activates New Chief’s Vehicle
The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company is pleased to announce the delivery and activation of a new Chief’s Vehicle to serve the residents and patrons of our fire district.
This Chief’s vehicle will operate as a first response vehicle for all emergency incidents in our fire district in order to effectuate a rapid response process.
This vehicle is a 2008 Dodge Charger purchased from Megee Motors in Georgetown, Delaware which includes the following equipment: Whelen Light Package; 400 Mhz Radio; 800 Mhz Radio; Exterior Graphics by Fitch’s Graphics, Inc., of Elkton, Maryland; Lighting Package furnished and installed by Delmarva Communications of New Castle, Delaware. The manufacturer vehicle specifics are: 2.7-Liter V6 DOHC 24-Valve MPI Engine; 4-Speed Automatic Transmission - 3.90 Axle; front buckets, AM/FM, CD, Satellite radio; power windows, power door locks, cruise controls, intermittent wipers, air conditioning.
