Tuesday May, 5 2009 @ 15:45:16 Nature: Traffic/Transportation Accident BLS Address: Mount Joy Rd & Cannon Rd Millsboro, DE 19966 On Tuesday afternoon May 5th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a personal injury vehicle incident near the intersection of Mount Joy Road and Cannon Road. Apparently, a Ford Explorer SUV was traveling north on Mount Joy Road and lost control after rounding an extremely sharp curve causing the SUV to roll over multiple times before landing on its wheels. The occupants of the SSUV required medical attention. Responding emergency apparatus were assigned to coordinate and assist with patient assessment, vehicle stabilization and traffic control. The Delaware State Police are investigating the incident.
