Nature: Structure Fire

Location: 22403 Peterkins Rd Georgetown, DE 19947

On Saturday afternoon, April 7^th, the Indian River (80) and Millsboro (83) volunteer fire companies was alerted to assist the Georgetown (77) Fire Company with a residential structure fire Peterkins Road.  The original incident dispatch for Georgetown was an appliance fire in a residential structure on Peterkins Road with the incident being upgraded to a working structure fire.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included the establishment of a manpower pool to assist where needed.  Crews were specifically assigned to assist with ventilation before being released from the incident.
