Nature: Electrical Hazard

Location: Tree & Live Wire Down

William Street Rd and Maryland Camp Road, Millsboro, DE 19966

On Tuesday afternoon, March 20^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a tree and wires down on Maryland Camp Road near William Street Road.  Iwas reported to be a live wire incident.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility and Utilities 80-11 and 80-13 from the Oak Orchard facility.

Emergency response crews were assigned to coordinated traffic control because the downed tree closed Maryland Camp Road and wait for the Delaware Electric Cooperative to isolate and disconnect the wires before corrective measures could be implemented.
