On Wednesday February 28th the members of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company participated in a drill on training of Rope Rescue.

Rope Rescue training is designed to familiarize the firefighter with the use and application of ropes, knots and rigging.

This training is a valuable skill for fire and rescue personnel to provide safe techniques of rope rescue.
