Nature: Vehicle Accident Possibly Serious (vehicle roll-over)

Reported Location: Indian Mission Rd and John J. Williams Hwy., Millsboro, DE 19966

Actual Location:  John J. Williams Hwy. near Holly Lake Campsite, Millsboro

On Sunday morning, February 25^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway near Holly Lake Campsite.  It was reported to be single vehicle rollover with possible serious injuries.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Ladder 80 and Chief 80-15 from the Oak Orchard location and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

It appears that a Hyundai sedan was travel east on John J. Williams Highway and left the roadway for an unknown reason traveling down a slight decline into a marshy water area and rolling over.  The vehicle was occupied by one person.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
