Story
On Thursday afternoon, March 26, 2008, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway near the entrance of Back Bay Shopping Center. It was determined that a white Chevrolet work van collided with a Gray Honda Mini-van. Vehicle stabilization and extrication measures were performed on the mini-van in order to adequately provide pre-hospital emergency medical evaluations and services prior to being transported to nearby medical facilities. The occupants of the vehicles were transported via the local emergency medical service providers including but not limited to Lewes Fire Department ambulances. The incident is being investigated by the Delaware State Police.
