Nature: Rosenbauer Final Truck Inspection – Rescue 80

City: Lyons, South Dakota

 

On Wednesday, January 10th, members of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company Truck Committee traveled to Lyons, South Dakota to perform a final inspection on the new rescue truck that has been acquired.  This truck is 2018 Rosenbauer Commander custom made rescue engine that carries 1,000 gallons of water and was designed to replace Engine #80-5 (1995 Spartan 4-Guys Pumper) and Rescue 80 (1997 Spartan 4-Guys Heavy Rescue).

It is anticipated that the new truck will be delivered to Delaware within the few weeks and finalized at DPC Emergency Services in Hartly, Delaware
