On Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at 7:32 p.m., the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle collision on Long Neck Road in the area of Pot Nets Bayside. Units arrived on scene and determined a van had veered off the roadway and struck a tree. One occupant was injured and required transportation to a local medical facility. This incident is under investigation by the Delaware State Police.
