On Friday, February 23, 2007, at 9:04 p.m., the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for vehicle fire on Cannon Road east of Mount Joy Road. First Assistant Chief Ryan Mock arrived on location and confirmed a Dodge Intrepid fully involved. Engine 80-1 placed a fire attack line in service to extinguish the vehicle. There were no firefighter or civilian injuries. The Delaware State Police are investigating this incident.
