Nature: Smoke Investigation

Location: 34774 Gooseneck St Millsboro, DE 19966

On Wednesday afternoon, November 1^st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a smoke investigation on Gooseneck Street in the Pot Nets Bayside development off of Long Neck Road.  It was reported to be a double wide manufactured home with an unknown source of odor.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-3 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included incident mitigation, evaluation and search for the source within included an interior and exterior review as well as an evaluation of the crawl spaces.  Every room and electric outlet was evaluated.

It appears that an odor of smoke was present within the residential structure and the source could not be readily identified.  After evaluation it was possibly isolated to an older phonograph and cabinet.
