On Sunday, September 3, 2006, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company participated in various functions during the "Labor Day Longneck Style" event sponsored by the Longneck Business Association. A number of members were on hand providing fire prevention education, fire truck rides, and standing by with the fireworks crew.
