On Thursday, August 10, 2006, at 10:46 a.m., the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an Automatic Fire Alarm. Upon arrival of fire units it was determined that a contracter had inadvertantly set off the alarm. The incident was under the command of Captain Eric Ruckle.
