Story
On Sunday, June 25, 2006, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assist the Seaford Volunteer Fire Company with a rescue boat. The Town of Seaford and surounding areas had received in excess of nine inches of rain in an approximate four hour period. Indian River firefighters assisted in responding to Motor Vehicle Collision, in which the vehicles were in water, closing bridges to traffic that were no longer passable, as well as various tasks that were assigned by the command post. One engine crew also provided a standby at the Millsboro Volunteer Fire Company as result of this incident.
