On Monday, May 1, 2006, at 2:17 p.m, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assist the Millsboro Fire Company on a working structure fire. Engine 80-1, 80-2, and Tanker 80 responded. Crews completed various tasks that were assigned by 83 Command. Indian River firefighters were in service for one hour and thirty minutes.
