On Monday, March 27, 2006, at 1:41 p.m., the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assist the Millsboro Fire Company on a woods fire. Brush 80-00, Engine 80-2, and Tanker 80 responded to this incident. Nineteen Indian River firefighters were in service for 1 hr and 41 minutes. The Lewes Fire Department provided station coverage for Indian River Fire Company until units returned.
