At 11:02 AM on Friday, September 9, we were dispatched, along with Sussex County Paramedics and Delaware State Police helicopter Trooper 2, for a rollover auto accident on Route 5, Indian Mission Road. Several different locations were given by callers. The accident was on County Road 307, Cannon Road, near Route 5. On arrival, we found a white Maxima that had rolled over twice and landed on its wheels. The driver was still in the car but not trapped. She was treated at the scene and transported by ground to Beebe Medical Center. Twenty-one firefighters were in service for twenty-eight minutes for this call. While we were still at the Cannon Road call, a man drove to our Station 2 and told firefighters that he was having medical problems. Indian River firefighters assisted the patient until County Paramedics and an ambulance from Station 82, Lewes, arrived.
