At 8:50 PM on September 5, we were dispatched, along with State Police Trooper 2, for a motorcycle accident on Long Neck Road in front of Pot-Nets Bayside. On arrival, we found a motorcycle off the road into some trees on the sharp curve. The operator was severely injured. Trooper 2 landed in the grassy area across the street. The patient was prepared for transport and then airlifted to Peninsula Regional Medical Center by Trooper 2. Thirty-four firefighters were in service for one hour and eight minutes for this call.
