In 1997, the Ways & Means Committee sponsored a Haunted Mansion for Halloween. A donated house on Legion Road, County Road 298, across from the American Legion Post was used. The building was properly redecorated. Members and their families used costumes and makeup to complete the Halloween atmosphere. Early in November, the Mansion was used for an Educational Burn.
